When it comes to protecting your property rights... Experience Does Matter.

Qualifications that Count and Experience that Matters
Ernest Rowley is the only Republican in the race who is a Licensed Surveyor and Certified Recorder. When it comes to your property boundaries professional experience matters.

Keeping your Taxes Low
As a life-long conservative he believes that small businesses and families know how to spend their money much better than the government. Ernest has a track record of working with families to ensure that property records are accurate so you're not overcharged on your tax bill.

Stopping Bureaucratic Errors
Ernest remembers that he and his office are your employees. When you find a mistake or have your property at risk, you can count on Ernest to quickly and efficiently correct it, because your tax dollars shouldn't ever be working against you.

Preserving Historical Documents
The Recorder is responsible for maintaining historical documents. Upon coming into office, Ernest discovered approximately five hundred thousand pages of unprotected documents. He has archived and protected three hundred-fifty thousand of those documents and secured them at the state archives. Ernest will continue to secure the remaining records as expediently as possible.

"As a Professional Land Surveyor, I have been involved in the Protection of Private Property Rights for more than thirty years.  My professional career began in the private sector and has focused on the legal and constitutional rights to own property and enjoy secure and stable boundaries. I continue to study the law, court cases, textbooks, and articles pertaining to the law of property and title. Attorneys, Legislators, City and County officials, Title professionals, Surveyors, Engineers and everyday citizens have sought after my professional opinions regarding property rights and title.

Our Constitutional right to property should never be infringed on by the government. I believe that one law change or policy change of one public office can have a significant impact to the liberty and freedom that ownership of proper provides. As a county official, I have testified to legislative committees to revise or stop legislation that would be damaging to private property rights. I am committed to continuing protecting, securing and preserving your property rights." - Ernest Rowley, PLS, CFedS
